Pre-Departure Shenanigans

This Sunday my dad and I are beginning our cross country road trip! I wanted to set up this blog so that I can write about our journey. After previous trips, I have wished that I had taken the time to write down more details about my experiences. This will be a great space to do so! 

Also, this is intended to keep our family and interested friends updated as to where we are! I'll try to post pictures and write a little bit each day. 

We are leaving early Sunday (May 31) morning and our first stop is Cleveland! Other destinations include:

-Chicago

-Mount Rushmore 

-Jackson, WY (Yellowstone and Grand Teton)

-Boise, ID

-Portland

-Seattle

Right now, I'm most excited to see Mount Rushmore! I've been talking about going there since I was too young to care about Mount Rushmore. Also, my undying enthusiasm for Napoleon Dynamite is getting me quite excited for Idaho...

Looking forward to traveling with dad, where the scenic route is the only route and gummy bears are considered a food group :)
